Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the Endzone mobile app and website. By using Endzone, you agree to these Terms.
Who We Are
Endzone is operated by Kaan Zabun. You can contact us at [email protected]. Legal provider information is available in our Impressum.
In these Terms, Endzone, we, us, and our refer to the operator of the Endzone mobile app and website.
Using Endzone
Endzone is an ultimate game logger for recording teams, rosters, games, points, events, and stats. The current app is local-first: it does not offer user accounts, cloud sync, subscriptions, in-app purchases, ads, or paid features.
Endzone is not an official scorekeeping system unless you decide to use it that way and verify the data yourself. Stats, summaries, and analysis depend on what users enter and may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong.
You are responsible for keeping your own backups if you need them. Local app data can be lost if you delete the app, reset team data, change devices, or install an update that resets the local database.
License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Endzone on devices you own or control in accordance with these Terms.
We or our licensors hold the relevant rights in Endzone’s software, visual design, logos, and the content we provide, excluding content you enter. These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, design, and other applicable laws. Except as expressly allowed by these Terms or by law that cannot be excluded, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of Endzone.
Eligibility
Endzone is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old and can legally agree to these Terms. Endzone is not directed to anyone under 18. If you are under 18, you may not use Endzone.
You must not enter personal data about anyone under 18. This includes roster, player, opponent, or game information that identifies or relates to a minor on a youth, school, club, or other team.
Your Data And Content
You are responsible for the team, player, opponent, game, and other content you enter in Endzone or send to us. You must not enter another adult’s personal data unless that person has given you permission. You must never enter personal data about anyone under 18.
Most app data is stored locally on your device. If you send us a message, you allow us to use its contents to respond, investigate problems you report, and evaluate suggestions or feedback to improve Endzone.
Acceptable Use
You agree that you will:
- use Endzone only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm other people or the app;
- enter information about another adult only when that person has given you permission to do so;
- never enter roster, player, opponent, game, or other information about anyone under 18;
- not use Endzone to harass, shame, or target players or other people;
- not try to disrupt Endzone, bypass security, or gain unauthorized access to Endzone or its service providers;
- not copy, resell, or distribute Endzone except through app stores or other channels we authorize;
- not send us content that is unlawful, abusive, infringing, misleading, or contains malware.
App Stores
If you download Endzone through an app store, the applicable app-store terms also apply.
Third-Party Services
Endzone uses third-party services for app distribution, app updates, website hosting, and email. These services may have their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control. We use the providers described in the Privacy Policy for the limited purposes identified there.
Changes To Endzone
Endzone is still in active development. Features may change as the app is developed. We may also fix bugs, remove demo data, change service providers, or release updates that affect local data or compatibility.
We may suspend or discontinue Endzone, in whole or in part, at any time, including remote services such as app updates. Ending a remote service does not itself upload or delete data stored locally, but local data may still be lost in the circumstances described above.
If we later offer materially different features, additional or updated terms may apply before those features are used.
No Warranty
Endzone is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we make no warranties that Endzone will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Endzone and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost goodwill, or business interruption.
To the extent we are found liable despite the above, and except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law, our total liability for any claim relating to Endzone will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for Endzone, which is currently zero, or USD 50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limits, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Endzone and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising out of or related to:
- the team, player, opponent, game, or other content you enter or send to us;
- your entry of information about anyone under 18 or about another adult without that person’s permission;
- your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use rules; or
- your violation of any law or of another person’s rights.
This section does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own conduct, and it does not limit any rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
Termination
You may stop using Endzone at any time. You can delete team, player, and game content and reset certain settings through available in-app controls. Deleting a team leaves the local Terms version and acceptance time in place. Uninstalling removes app data from that device subject to the operating system’s backup and restore behavior.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Endzone handles data. Please read it together with these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, except where mandatory consumer protection laws give you rights under another law.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date. If changes are material, we will provide more prominent notice, such as a notice in the app, and, where required by law, ask for your renewed acceptance before the changes apply to you.
If you continue to use Endzone after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, stop using Endzone and, if you wish, delete local app data or uninstall the app.
General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the app.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any platform or third-party terms that apply, are the entire agreement between you and us about Endzone.
