Privacy Policy
Endzone is a local-first ultimate game logger. This policy explains what data stays on your device, what data may be sent off device, and how that data is used.
Who We Are
Endzone is operated by Kaan Zabun. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected]
In this policy, Endzone, we, us, and our refer to the operator of the Endzone mobile app and website.
Data Stored On Your Device
The current app does not offer user accounts or cloud sync. Most data you enter is stored locally on your device in the app database or app preferences.
- team name, country, and team colors
- player names, jersey numbers, and optional birth year, gender, and nationality
- opponent team names and colors
- game setup details, including tournament text, game type, schedule, venue, line size, and logging scope
- game scores, points, lineups, logged event types, selected player roles, timestamps, and field coordinates
- logger field actions after they are converted into structured game events; raw touch paths, canceled player selections, and canceled menu choices are not stored
- preferences such as theme, measurement system, date format, and training/help states
This data is used to run the app, save and resume games, show squad and player pages, compute statistics, and preserve historical game records. It is not uploaded to Endzone servers in the current version.
Data Sent Off Device
Endzone may send limited data to service providers for the following purposes:
Service providers may also process routine technical request data needed to receive, route, secure, and operate these requests.
Feedback
If you submit feedback in the app, Endzone sends your feedback type, message, optional email address, and platform to Sentry.
Diagnostics and error reporting
Endzone uses Sentry to receive crash reports, error events, diagnostic breadcrumbs, app version, operating system, device/runtime information, and similar technical diagnostics. Endzone configures Sentry not to include default personal data, such as user IP address, in Sentry event data. Endzone does not use Sentry to record session replays, screen replays, or performance traces.
App updates
Endzone uses Expo Updates so the app can check for and download remote app updates. Update requests may include technical information needed to serve the correct update, such as operating system, project ID, runtime/update metadata, and update installation identifiers.
Demo data
If you choose Try with demo data, Endzone reads a hard-coded demo game from Supabase and imports it into local storage. Supabase receives the request needed to serve that demo data. The current app does not upload your locally entered team, player, or game data to Supabase.
Website
If you visit the Endzone website, the website hosting provider may process routine request data, such as IP address, user agent, timestamps, and pages requested, to deliver and secure the site. The current website code does not include advertising or analytics trackers.
How We Use Data
We use data to:
- provide app features, including local game logging, stats, and analysis;
- save app preferences and training/help states;
- respond to feedback and support requests;
- diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues;
- serve app updates and maintain app security;
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
Legal Bases For Processing
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases when we process personal data:
- Our legitimate interest in providing and improving the app: running local game logging, stats, and analysis, and serving app updates.
- Our legitimate interest in reliability and security: diagnosing crashes, fixing bugs, and protecting the app and website. We limit this to the technical diagnostics described above and configure Sentry not to include default personal data.
- Your consent: when you choose to submit feedback or an optional email address. You can withhold or withdraw consent by not submitting feedback or by leaving the email field blank.
- Legal obligation: where we must process data to comply with applicable law.
Because most data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers, much of what you enter is not processed by us at all.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising SDKs, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking. We share data only as described in this policy.
- Sentry processes feedback and diagnostics for app quality and support.
- Expo processes app update requests for EAS Update.
- Supabase serves demo data when you choose to import demo data.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the app, or our rights.
Permissions
The current app does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, health data, photo library, Bluetooth, or push notifications.
Security
Local app data is stored in the app sandbox on your device and is protected by your device operating system. It is not separately end-to-end encrypted by Endzone. Data sent to service providers is transmitted over HTTPS.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. Please avoid entering sensitive information that is not needed for ultimate game logging.
Retention And Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, reset your team data, uninstall the app, or an app update resets the local database.
Feedback and diagnostics sent to Sentry are retained for 30 days unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
- You can leave the feedback email field blank.
- You can delete individual games in the app.
- You can remove a player from the active squad. Historical game snapshots may remain because they preserve past game records.
- You can delete your team from Team management, which resets local app data, preferences, onboarding, games, players, and training state on that device.
- You can uninstall the app to remove app data controlled by the operating system on that device.
- You can contact us to request deletion of feedback or diagnostics data that was sent off device.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because Endzone is local-first:
- Most of your data lives only on your device. You can view, edit, or delete it directly in the app, or remove it entirely by deleting your team or uninstalling the app.
- For feedback or diagnostics sent to Sentry, you can contact us to request access to or deletion of records we control and can identify.
To make a request, contact us at [email protected] We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EEA and UK.The legal bases we rely on are described in “Legal Bases For Processing” above. You may withdraw consent at any time and have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California. Under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, you have the rights described above for the categories of personal information listed in this policy. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
Data About Other People
Endzone lets you enter roster and game information about teammates, opponents, and other people involved in a game. Only enter data that you have the right or permission to use. If you use Endzone for a youth, school, club, or other team that includes minors, you are responsible for getting any permission or consent required from players, parents or guardians, schools, clubs, or leagues before entering that data.
Children
Endzone is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. Children under that age should not use Endzone or submit feedback without the required parent or guardian consent.
Minors may appear in roster and game data when a permitted coach, team representative, parent, guardian, or player enters that information. For a player, Endzone collects an optional birth year only, not a full date of birth. Endzone does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable minimum age.
If you believe data about a child was provided without the required consent, contact us. We will review the request, delete any feedback, diagnostic, or website request records we control and can identify, and provide instructions for deleting local data stored only on the device.
International Processing
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy when Endzone changes or when legal, store, or service-provider requirements change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
